Corporate bowls is a fun time for everybody who is not too serious about bowling.
Make yourself up a team of four people, call your team something (well almost anything).
Come to Halls Head Bowling for six consecutive weeks before Christmas & six after.
Have fun to win or loose - just enjoy yourself.
There is plenty to eat & quench the thirst.
Some people even get serious about who is nearest to the jack.
Either way, the volunteer members of Halls Head Bowling will make sure you have a good time.
Corporate Bowls results
Up to 38 teams enthusiastically played 10 ends every Wednesday early evening from six weeks before Christmas and then from the 6th January until the 10th February 2016.
After the fifth round following Christmas the top team 'Stitch and Bitch' weren't able to play the last round as they were all going away (and they weren't happy about it either as they saw the medals slipping away from them). Thus the second team on the ladder the 'Golf Girls 'came in to win the Allan Fisher medals with 30 points and 6 wins.
Second were "The Islanders 'on 28 points - 5 wins and a draw. The Islanders are our very own Junior bowlers Harvey, Izak, James and Brock so well done boys!
Third were "'Odds and Ends 'with 20 points - 5 wins
Best dressed were Mrs Brown's girls who always looked very smart in their bright glittery tops.
Corporate/Community Bowls is a fun way to enjoy lawn bowls in a very social environment and is suitable for all ages, families, friends, businesses
